The Veth were once the masters of their own empire, but it was on the decline when they were conquered by the Marikan. Because of their skills as artists and bureaucrats, the Veth were assimilated into the Empire very easily.

Veth are human in form, but have blue skin and metallic eye colors. Their hair color covers the entire spectrum of visible colors. On occasion there are albino Veth born among the species. They are hidden or quickly removed by Marikan agents for Marikan amusement. There is a legend that an albino Veth will one day overthrow the Gray Empire, which lends an urgency to removal.

Veth are more flexible than humans but are weaker and more fragile.
