Tal Shuresh's Personal Log - Episode 3

It is a rare thing for me to feel nervous. I haven’t felt this way since my crew and I faced off against the Borg in Alphonse Sector. We nearly died then and perhaps recent events are foretelling my own death now. Gunner appears to have gotten himself killed. I guess I will have to make another one. Thank the makers that he allowed me to clone his genetic sequence. The Sheriff appears to have been destroyed as well. All because of the crew of the Grinning Vulcan. I underestimated Tarak. I should have killed him when last he came to speak to me. The fact that I owe him makes matters more complicated. How could I have missed this potential outcome.

Gang wars have torn this city apart in the past but now they seem to be uniting against me. Jik Fenya has taken much of the northern city and the Jolet/Gurlac alliance has now added Hung Jo and the Ax gang to its strength and has begun marching on the central parts of the city. The Slashers remain true as do the Ghouls but I do not want to be indebted to them. I will only call on their forces if needed.

The one good thing I have going for me is superior firepower and alot of trained men. Not as many true soldiers as Jik Fenya but enough. War, it makes me anxious and at the same time fills me with joy. Cleaning up the city is good for business. Now I need to satisfy some debts.
