Star Trek Late Night
Dorr's Personal Log - Episode 10
This crew is full of useless misfits. I don’t know how we shall survive taking a ship if they have even a few good soldiers aboard. Tarak is doing his best to get the crew into shape but until we put them to the test of fire and blood we shall not know who has steel in their soul and who the cowards truly are. It is good to be free of that Romulan hellhole but truly I desire only to see combat before I die. Old age and the Flox is killing me quicker than I had realized and to die in a bed would be a disgrace to my entire lineage. I pray for vengeance against those who betrayed me and yet I sit here on this toy vessel seeking death at the hands of an enemy that is not likely to come. The Federation is seeking us as are the Romulans and perhaps even the Peacekeepers. Still they are all poor enemies and shall fall to my blade. It is at the hands of a Klingon I shall seek my end. To kill those in the house of Duros or the house of Kang would bring me great joy. Vile deceivers and traitors they all are. If not for Karr I should have killed Grog when he walked through my door but I let matters lie in honor of my friend.
I shall pray for war tonight and every night until I meet my fate. If the gods are real they shall grant the request of this old dog. If not, then I shall just have to go on living for I refuse to die of disease or age. War. War please come and consume this place. Please come and grant me one last great battle before I die. I shall get these dogs into fighting shape or I will cut them down myself. We must be prepared for war. We must be prepared to face all of our enemies and we need to be prepared today.
I also must note that my daughter is acting strange since we have come about the Golden Heart. She seems to be smitten with someone but I don’t know who. None of the men have taking the gambit of bedding her and her behavior is making me concerned. I pray it is Karr she seeks for if she were to choose a non-Klingon I should have to smash her skull. We shall see and I will watch over her in the coming days.
