Star Trek Late Night
The governing body of the Centauri people is called the Centauri Republic with its capital on the Centauri Homeworld, Centauri Prime. They call the star that Centauri Prime orbits Centauri but Earth-based astronomers refer to it as Zeta Tucanae.
They are lead by the Centauri Emperor, who’s word is law, and is not only the head of the government, but is also the spiritual leader of the Centauri people. Ideally the Emperor only does things for the good of his people and for the glory of the Empire as a whole.
The only check on the Emperor’s power is the Centaurum. The Centaurum is an elected group of advisors to the Emperor, known as Senators who may only over ride his decisions by three-quarters vote.
Centauri are known to have 2 hearts, and the males have 6 sexual appendages. One of these organs can be used as an extra manipulator; Centauri have been know to use this organ to cheat at cards. When used, Coordination is 1(2) with Dexterity and Reaction -2.
In order to regain the glory of their old Republic, the Centauri have subjugated the Narn twice, once a hundred years ago, and again in 2259.
Description: The Centauri race appears exactly like Humans; because of this they were able to claim to be related to Humans and even went as far as to say that they fathered the Human race until DNA tests showed otherwise.
Centauri males tend to wear their hair in a large fan that usually as an indication of status. Centauri females have bald heads except for a growth of hair on the back of their heads. They usually wear this hair in ponytail fashion.

This the ability for Centauri to see the time of his or her death in a dream. While all Centauri may have this dream few ever do. Those that do may not remember it and those that remember may not understand it.
This is not a Psi power but it can be treated as Precognition (Psi), but only for time of death. If the dream occurs the player should role his Intellect against a TN of 4 to see if he remembers it. If he succeeds, he should then roll against his Intellect again but against a TN of 6 to see if he understands it.
This ability is for Centauri females only and although many of the women who have this ability are Psionic, the Gift of Prophecy is not a Psi ability. The Gift of Prophecy should be treated as Precognition (Psi), and should be bought like any normal skill, but instead of being tied to Psi the Gift of Prophecy is tied to Intellect.
