During his time as Transporter Chief of the USS Vanguard, Arnold Jenkins invented this sport. The sport is played in complete anti-gravity within a 30 meter diameter sphere. Four players, each designated a different color (blue, green, yellow, and purple), throw balls (28cm in diameter) with four coresponding lights at each other. The ball must strike each of the four players extinguishing one of the four lights. Once all four lights are extinguished the ball turns red. The first player to get the now-red ball into his goal (a 30cm hole on one of the walls) gains a point. The ball is then reintroduced back into play with all lights re-lit. The game is played in three segments of 10 minutes each. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

During the Vanguard’s visit to the planet Tattooine, Chief Jenkins taught the game to a group of nomadic merchants. They taught the game to others, and soon the game was being played in gambling establishments throughout Hutt Space. When the Vanguard returned home, Chief Jenkins made the game available publically, and the game has gained quite a following.

Currently, two professional leagues (Andorian and Trill) have formed, establishing quite a sporting rivalry among their respective fans.
